An article in the Columbus Dispatch reports that an 82-year-old farmer in Fayette County is dead after he became trapped under his brush hog. Herman Ingram was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner’s office.
Ingram either stepped off or fell from the tractor and became trapped when it lurched forward.
