A Cincinnati.com article reports that the Ohio House and Senate have passed a measure that would ban the use of electronic devices while driving. House Bill 99 comes after a Colerain teen and her passenger were killed on May 3 after running a stop sign. It’s believed she was texting when she drove into a tractor trailer. A spokesperson for the Governor said Kasich intends to sign the bill into law.
The goal of the bill is to change the behavior of drivers.
